DreamWorks has acquired Nic Kelman's original spec script "Genneris."
Studio is keeping the logline under wraps, but the project is a high-concept sci-fi film.
Producing credits are still being finalized.
"Genneris" is Kelman's first script sale. Scribe is best known as the author of the best-selling novel "girls," which Little, Brown and Co. published in 2003.
Kelman, who holds degrees from MIT and Brown, is repped by CAA.
